While I like the lighting, and it seems that most favor the second choice, I think it's too matchy/matchy and a tad boring. I'd keep looking. My philosophy is "when you see it, you'll know it." Also re the chairs...Do you ever pull up chairs now and use the island end? If not, I wouldn't do anything more than a stool that tucks under. I think the extra chairs will start to crowd that side of the kitchen. I added bar stools in my kitchen, and no one ever uses them. Everyone just sits at the table to talk. So, that's my 2 cents! Looks pretty perfect with your chandy over the table. Love how the island looks in the space, but I think you are right to want it a different color. Would it be too much if you painted it black? I know you will make the right choice and it will look beautiful..Happy Tuesday..JudyJudy at GoldCountryCottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282585980012016892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765366916959264577.post-79245804853602285062016-02-09T23:01:38.087-05:002016-02-09T23:01:38.087-05:00I'm lovin' your mock up of the new look, g...I'm lovin' your mock up of the new look, great job on that!
