I hope your summer is winding down nicely.  Our family spent the last week in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, a picturesque village located in the province of Québec, and we rented a house that spoke dearly to my heart.  I give a tour of this special house here

We did not have Internet in our rental house and I could not wait to come home and get lost in your creative posts and soak up all of the inspiration this party has to offer.

Here are this week's featured links:

How amazing is this DIY faux farmhouse style fireplace and mantel by Twelve on Main?  I am in awe.

Daune from the blog Cottage in the Oaks gives us great ideas on how to prepare your home for fall.  My favorite is this adorable beverage station filled with everything you need to make warm beverages when the temperature cools off.

Did you ever make your own candles?  Hop on over to Ann's Entitled Life and get the instructions on how to create these wonderful homemade autumn spice soy candles.

Share Your Style Link Party #132

Hello everyone and welcome back to another awe inspiring Share Your Style party. This week your party host is me, Barbara from the blog

Remember when you link up to one blog your creativity is seen on all six of our blogs!

Can you believe we already heading into the final stretch of the summer? August is almost over and my oldest headed off for her first day of high school today. My how time certainly does fly on by!

Well I have to say that there were a lot of fabulous links shared at last week's party which made it pretty tough to select which ones to feature. So with out further ado, here are some of the links that really caught my eye!

The first link I want to highlight is from Sherry over at her blog the Savvy Apron. Sherry and her hubby built this gorgeous farm style table with a stunning tabletop of zinc! I just love it!!!

Mary, who pens the blog Orphans with Makeup, was commissioned to refinish an antique Indian armoire. She was lovely enough to link up her amazing finished product!

Fall is around the corner and it will be time to start thinking pumpkins. This beautiful vintage pumpkin was created by County Road 407 using, get this, store bought pumpkins! Hop on over to see what else you'll need to create your own vintage pumpkins!

I love anything that has to do with Greek fare so when Jas, from the blog All That's Jas, linked up her incredible recipe for Baklava Ice Cream in Fillo Cups, well I went gaga!

The final feature for this week is from Jenna over at the blog Rain on a Tin Roof. Jenna linked up a tutorial on how to make this adorable DIY lemonade stand.

Now it's time to get this party started and you can show off your style!

Share Your Style Link Party #131

Hello Everyone and welcome to Share Your Style #131.  I'm Carol from The Red Painted Cottage and I'm so happy to be your host this evening.

As a reminder, when you link up to our party, your post will appear on all six of the blogs listed below.

We would love to have you follow us

I recently shared the following on The Red Painted Cottage:

I don't know about you, but even though I'm seeing fall online and in the stores, I'm savoring as much of summer as I can.  Summer just isn't long enough, especially here in Michigan, where I live.

This Week's Features

This is such a creative way to use mosaic garden art as a camouflage.  If you happen to live out in the country, My Thrift Store Addiction shows such a clever way to disguise your septic tank cover.

So Much Better With Age shows us some easy and beautiful ways to decorate with flowers.  You'll want to read this and see some of her easy suggestions.

This pasta dish looks so easy and delicious.  Honey and Birch shares her recipe of Penne Aglio E Olio.  If you love garlic and pasta, this is for you.

Keeping with Italian food, how about some Tiramisu?  All About Jas has a no-cook Tiramisu cheesecake that looks easy and really yummy.

The Boondocks Blog is sharing some beautiful and delightful photos she took of her country.   You'll want to hop on a plane and go visit Greece after seeing these.

Share Your Style Link Party #130

Hello everyone!

How is everyone doing this week?  Are your kids back to school yet?  I live in GA and mine is already back.  Seems too early though!  Now, that the summer break is over, I can start looking forward to Fall though.

I want to welcome you back to another fun week of Share Your Style.  I'm Kelly from The Essence of Home and will be your host this week.

When you link up to this party, your post will be shared on all six blogs at once!

We would love it if you would follow each of us as well.  Our accounts are listed below.

Here are some features from last week's party.

1915 House shared a favorite dry rub recipe for grilling.  My husband loves to grill out and use unique seasonings and marinades so this one looked very appealing!

Twelve on Main shared her ideas for creating eclectic farmhouse office decor in a small space.  I love farmhouse decor and thought she picked out some beautiful pieces!   They are all from World Market and she provides the info for you.

Repurpose and Upcycle shared a DIY project on how to install board and batten.  She put some up in her hallway to create a modern farmhouse mudroom.  She gives a tutorial so you can learn how to do it too!

If you were featured, please feel free to display this button on your blog!

Now, let's see what you've got for us this week.  Please add a link back to your post for this party.

Can you believe that it's August already? When I look at the many creative posts all the talented bloggers link up to our party, I want summer to last forever so that I can have more time to try out all of your stylish ideas.

Here are this week's featured links:

The title of Katie from Let's Add Sprinkles' post, "Attack Of The Giant Moth" assured that I would click on it. Apparently, she overcame her horror of a freakishly large moth that found its way into her bedroom one night by using it to inspire her delightful and whimsical summer sun-room decor.

Suzy from Suzy's Artsy-Craftsy Sitcom absolutely dazzled me with this gorgeous 3-D Enchanted Fish art piece she created by embossing and painting her design on (believe it or not) disposable aluminum cookie sheets.

Nothing says summer like watermelon. Kim from Cravings Of A Lunatic takes advantage of the season's abundance of this sweet and juicy fruit with her totally tempting recipe for Honey Lime Chicken Tacos With Watermelon Salsa.

And last but not least, Lotti from Food Fun Family just made me smile with her recipe for Sand Pudding. The little "sandy" cups are super cute and sure to be a hit with beach loving kids of all ages.
