Even though it's been so dreary and rainy, I am still seeing definite signs of Spring here where I live.....the bright yellow blooms of the forsythia bushes and the sweet little daffodils.  As well as all the Spring goodness in your link-ups last week.  It takes me hours to read  them but here are my picks from last week.  :)

For the life of me, I cannot make a decent French macaron cookie.  But I am going to try again, using the recipe from Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt.  Aren't these just stunning with their pretty Spring colors?


Karianne of the blog ThistleWood Farms shares her "before and after" of her master bedroom.  Oh my.....can I spend the weekend there?


When we first bought this house, I went with what was so popular in kitchen design, had the butcher block counters removed and replaced with black granite.  Very pretty but to this day I regret doing that.   I love butcher blocker and Cherished Bliss shares her kitchen makeover and a how to.


Jen of Cincy Shopper shares her recipe for Easter egg candies.  Yum!  How special to treat someone with these.


And lastly for your health.....with this winter being a dreadful flu and cold season, I love this tip from

kicking shower melts.

I was so blown away by all the interesting and inspiring posts our party-goers linked up last week, that it was, yet again, difficult to choose just a few from this embarrassment of riches. However, that's my job as host; so here are my picks.

This Week's Featured Links: 

Yvonne from Stone Gable provided an excellent tutorial for making easy and inexpensive decorative orbs from wooden embroidery hoops. Embroidery hoop crafts are hot right now, and this project is great because it really transforms this simple utilitarian tool into a very high-end looking decor item.


I have to confess that I totally experienced kitchen envy when I viewed Angelina from Petit Haus' gorgeous dream kitchen remodel.
I absolutely adore all the finishes she chose, and the range and double islands are truly drool-worthy.


Another stunning remodeling project that caught my eye is this colorful craft room designed by Michelle from The Scrap Shoppe Blog. We'll have to keep an eye on Michelle's upcoming projects because she is sure to be inspired to create awesome things in this joyful and highly organized space.


My final feature this week is a modern take on a hearty beef stew from the blog, The Kittchen. Kit's recipe for this staple of cold weather comfort food is deliciously updated and made richer and more nutritious with the addition of caramelized onion and kale. It seems perfect for a wintry February Sunday supper.
