Share Your Style Link Party #155

Hello everyone and welcome to Share Your Style #155!  I'm Carol from The Red Painted Cottage and I'll be your host this evening.

When you link to our party, your blog will be shown on all six of the blogs shown below.

We would love to have you follow us:

I recently shared the following on The Red Painted Cottage:

We just celebrated Christmas and New Year's and now 2018 is marching along to such a fast beat.  Seriously, Valentine Day is only two weeks from today!  All my features tonight are about Valentine and love.  There's always so much inspiration you all share.

This Week's Favorite Links:

I'm really impressed with this beautiful pallet art that Life Sew Savory make with cut-out fabric.  Emily used a Brother ScanNCut 2 cutting machine, which I've never heard of before!  We've all heard of Silhouette and Cricut, but where have I been all this time?  She even has a video on her site showing her using this cutting machine.

Life on Kaydeross Creek made this very pretty, yet subtle love banner.  I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of all-out decorating for Valentine's Day.  I think when you have kids around, it's a whole different story, but with just the two of us, I think Colleen's love banner and vignette has just the right amount of color, plus it's easy and inexpensive; a win-win!

Are you still looking around for a gift to give your Valentine?  Look no further than to Sweet Parrish Place where Nicki has 15 different and beautiful gift ideas for anyone on your list, including all price ranges.

Don't these cookies look yummy?  Kristen, from Dizzy Busy and Hungry is sharing her 3 Ingredient Valentine Crunch Cookies with all of us.  Anything easy always grabs my attention.

We would appreciate if you could provide a link back to our party on our blog post.   Please, no repeats for one year.  Thank you to everyone who linked up and visited last week.

Share Your Style Link Party #154

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the 154th Share Your Style Party!  I'm Kelly, from The Essence of Home, and will be your host this week.

When you link up here, your post is also displayed on all six blogs at once!  Here are all our party hosts.

We would love to have you follow us if you're not already.

Here are some features from last week's party:

Designthusiasm shared some great sources for French writing desks.  I love French style decor and furniture, so I was very drawn to this post!

So Much Better With Age shared her complete kitchen supply list.  She has a beautiful kitchen and opened her cabinets and drawers to show us her favorite cooking essentials.  Doesn't everyone want to know what's behind those closed doors?  She is so organized too!  She also provided sources for many of her items.

Anika's DIY Life shared her boy-girl bedroom.  This room is so adorable!  I never would've thought to do this unique wall treatment to differentiate the boys side from the girls side.

If you were featured above, please copy and paste this feature button to place on your blog!

We ask that you place a link on
your post showing you linked to this party.

As always selecting a few features from all the wonderful links last week was a hard thing to do but here we go.  Enjoy!

Living on Cloud Nine had my mouth watering with her Sliders .....perfect for all the Super Bowl parties coming up soon.

No resolutions here about losing weight or exercising.....boring!  Decorating resolutions are much more fun and Anita at Cedarhill Farmhouse shares with us warm, cozy and excellent ideas for the January blues

I always try to do a winter scape on my front porch as I miss the Christmas décor so much.  Usually my theme is "Let it Snow".  I love this beautiful snowy, dreamy wreath Fair Meadow Place has graciously shown us how to make.

And lastly, Kris, of the blog Junk Chic Cottage, does a make-over in the living room of her charming "cottage" new home.  Couldn't you just settle right in one of those comfy chairs with a good book?

Thank you for stopping by this week, just reading, or linking with us your fabulous recipes, tips,  and makeovers,  We love you for it.  If you were featured please proudly display our Feature Button on your blog and don't forget to link back to our blog party so others can find it.

Love, The Share Your Style team.
Now let's party on!!!!

As I said at the beginning of my recent Fireside Supper post, the holidays are over and "baby, it's cold outside!"  However, looking over last week's link-ups, I am warmed by all of the great ideas posted by so many talented bloggers. As usual, it was hard to narrow down my favorites, but since New Years' resolutions are often about transformations, I've chosen some links that inspire me to look at things with a fresh eye and make changes for the better in the upcoming year.

This Week's Featured Links:

Liz from That Skinny Chick Can Bake shared a recipe for Spinach Feta Pinwheels in which she transformed Greek spanakopita or spinach pie into appealing party-ready spirals using puff pastry instead of the traditional filo dough.

Lindsey from Repurpose and Upcycle's transformation of her beach condo from, as she says, a dated "Margaritaville" into a modern farmhouse style is nothing short of amazing. The new gray and white color palette and rustic furnishings make it a truly serene and relaxing sanctuary to get away from it all.

Since one of my New Year's resolutions is to remodel my own closet, another transformation that caught my eye was the beautiful master bedroom closet that Colleen from Life On Kaydeross Creek built on a budget. Seeing her before and after photos gives me hope for the future of the jumbled mess I currently call my closet.

My final feature this week is from Susan of the blog, Homeroad. She found the window of an old hutch by the roadside, brought it home, and transformed it into a stunning architectural display piece.

Oodles of stuff coming into our homes during the holidays can leave us feeling stressed and overwhelmed.  Julie Blanner has great tips for organizing after Christmas chaos.
