As I said at the beginning of my recent Fireside Supper post, the holidays are over and "baby, it's cold outside!" However, looking over last week's link-ups, I am warmed by all of the great ideas posted by so many talented bloggers. As usual, it was hard to narrow down my favorites, but since New Years' resolutions are often about transformations, I've chosen some links that inspire me to look at things with a fresh eye and make changes for the better in the upcoming year.
This Week's Featured Links:
Liz from That Skinny Chick Can Bake shared a recipe for Spinach Feta Pinwheels in which she transformed Greek spanakopita or spinach pie into appealing party-ready spirals using puff pastry instead of the traditional filo dough.
Lindsey from Repurpose and Upcycle's transformation of her beach condo from, as she says, a dated "Margaritaville" into a modern farmhouse style is nothing short of amazing. The new gray and white color palette and rustic furnishings make it a truly serene and relaxing sanctuary to get away from it all.
Since one of my New Year's resolutions is to remodel my own closet, another transformation that caught my eye was the beautiful master bedroom closet that Colleen from Life On Kaydeross Creek built on a budget. Seeing her before and after photos gives me hope for the future of the jumbled mess I currently call my closet.
My final feature this week is from Susan of the blog, Homeroad. She found the window of an old hutch by the roadside, brought it home, and transformed it into a stunning architectural display piece.
Congratulations to our featured bloggers! Make sure to grab our Share Your Style button to display on your blog.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could include a link back to our party on your blog post. Please, no repeats for one year. Thank you to everyone who linked up and visited last week.
