Spring has officially sprung, but here in the Carolinas, unfortunately, the weather hasn't gotten the memo. No matter, our SYS party bloggers are sure to provide tons of Spring inspiration, even if it doesn't feel like it outside your door.

This Week's Featured Links:

Danielle from A Sprinkle Of Joy shared her recipe for Chocolate Hazelnut Puff Pastry Bites. I think these easy but fancy-looking treats would be a perfect special dessert for any Easter Brunch.

Lori from Designthusiam shared her gorgeous transformed dining room. She achieved the revamped understated European style, primarily with the addition of new slipcovers and accessories. So elegant!

Paula from the Frog Prince Paperie showed how to make these adorable Bunny Marshmallow Pops which are so cute, they just might replace the iconic Peeps in your Easter Basket!

My final feature this week is another Easter post. It comes from Suzy of the Suzy Sitcom blog. Her tutorial for creating shiny foil Easter eggs caught my eye because I just couldn't believe she made such beautiful eggs with plain old utilitarian aluminum foil.

Happy Spring!  Who is jumping for joy?  It's been a very long winter with so much snow here at the farm and I can't wait to have my hands in the dirt surrounded by buzzing bees and chirping birds.  I have thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of your spring and Easter posts and here are this week's featured links:

So Much Better With Age shared the sweetest spring mantel.  I love the wire cloches and the bunny pallet sign is adorable!

Ready or not, but spring will officially begin this coming Tuesday!  I think all of us are more than ready for it's arrival.  Now if only Mother Nature would cooperate.  Furthermore, Easter is only two weeks from this coming Sunday.  So with spring on everyone's minds, I've chosen spring fever features I hope you'll all enjoy.

THIS WEEK'S FEATURED LINKS

I love this simple, yet colorful tablescape that Maria, from Simple Nature Decor, has created.  The contrast from the blue and white dishes and the napkins really makes everything come alive, not to mention those delicious cookies and simple white flowers.  Springtime is written all over her table!

Have you noticed how popular buffalo checks and gingham checks are right now?  Lisa, from  Fresh Vintage By Lisas, has shared her clever idea to paint a buffalo check design on a few mason jars for Easter and/or spring.  I can picture these on a mantel, filled with springtime flowers.  And these cute and colorful bunnies look quite adorable with them.

April showers bring May flowers!  Jennifer, from Celebrating Everyday Life, had spring showers on her mind as she created this unusual, yet gorgeous spring wreath!  The best part of all is it only takes a few minutes to put together.  I love quick and easy projects!

Every Easter dinner or buffet needs a luscious and great tasting cake to end your meal with.  This lemon chiffon layer cake by Rose Bakes looks so light and delicious, and I think most people really love the fresh taste of lemon.

I know so many of us in parts of the country are anxiously awaiting the arrival of spring, but Mother Nature has had other plans that includes snow and more snow.  Fortunately here in Michigan we haven't gotten hit that hard and I can listen to birds chirping when I take our dog Sadie for a walk. As usual, you all submitted great blog posts and each one of you deserve to be featured; but as you know, that's not possible.

This Week's Featured Links

With spring just two weeks away, Carol from Bluesky At Home shows us 6 steps to take in preparing flowers for a pretty arrangement.  The flowers she used were all purchased from her local grocery store, but you would never guess that.  Aren't they beautiful!

St. Patrick's Day is next week and that means corned beef will be on sale at your grocery store this coming week.  Marilyn, from Marilyn's Treats shows you how simple and easy it is to use a crock pot to make corned beef and cabbage.  Not only that, but by cooking it in this method, your corned beef won't be dry.  If you love corned beef, check out her recipe!

You won't want to miss this new makeup vanity over at An Oasis in the Desert.  While you're there, Carol also has a link to her fabulous Dream Closet.  It's the type of closet every woman wishes for!  The amazing thing about her vanity and this closet, is her wonderful husband designed and built it all for her.  Unfortunately, she tells us that he's not on loan!

I can't tell you why, but I was totally smitten with this post on old telephones that Dianne from Deanie's Stash wrote.  Maybe it's because I'm old and remember using some of these phones, or it's because I love antiques and vintage items, along with my love of history.  She owns phones dating back to the very early 1900's.  It's a walk down memory lane for some of us oldie but goodies, and for the younger crowd it's a look at history.
