A Look Back at Summer 2013

Gosh can you believe we are now just 4 days away from the Labor Day weekend? I know a lot of kids are going back to school this week, ours start a week from tomorrow. But with that being said it was a fun packed and very full summer here at 21 Rosemary Lane, so lets take a look back at some of the travel, activities and projects of Summer 2013.

This year we hit the ground running as the last day of the kid's school year was the first day of our first trip. We headed out camping on Assateague Island.

Then on to Cape May N.J.for the fourth!

The kids swam A LOT and even made a few dollars on their lemonade stand. Michael celebrated his 9th birthday and Grace was a finalist in the National American Miss Pageant.

I even got a few projects done between all of our travels and activities.

Then at the end of July we were off to Canada and Niagara Falls.

Grace and Michael swam in the Great Lake Huron and finger lake, Lake Skaneateles.

The summer was filled with fun in the sun and plenty of ice cream!

I bid a fond farewell to summer 2013, it surely was a fun packed one. But I am looking forward to the fall with it's crisp air and all the beautiful colors it brings.
Ahhh such inspiration!!!

XO

I love Cape May, visited while I lived in NYC, still remember I had the best clam chowder there!

  7. Barbara, I enjoyed looking at your vacation/travel posts! You certainly have a wonderful family vibe and the kids look so happy. I just took the decorating quiz you were so nice to link to on your sidebar--I am French Country-- probably very accurate!! Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! Linda
