I know I've already shared with you my decorated front porch, but as it is my nature more often then not, just when I think I am done with something I may come up with another idea for it...possibly one a little bit better than the first.
You see I have these two beat up, and in need of some serious attention, Adirondack chairs my sister got at a yard sale for free. I have them now as I am holding onto them for a friend. Then I had the bright idea of using one of them on my rustic front porch setting.
Here is my porch before the chair...
And here is how I moved a few things around to accommodate the chair.

My sled is still on the porch only now is sits to the right of our front door.
I really am liking the way the chair fills up the porch making it feel a little cozier. Then I put the pillow I had on my green chair in the entry on the Adirondack chair to welcome friends.
In the meantime I am still plugging along trying to finish my kitchen so I can show you.
Hope you have all of your presents bought and packages wrapped cuz we are only 5 days away from Christmas!!!

Oh my goodness, that looks terrific! Heck, for that matter, I say keep the chair for yourself, lol!
ReplyDeleteBarb- I think that chair really finishes the porch off nicely. It really cozies it up and I love the way it looks- day or night! Blessings-xo Diana

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Barbara. If I were you I would beg, borrow or steal that chair. Looks very welcoming for Christmas but would look great any time of year. Leaving for kids early tomorrow so will have to see your kitchen after I get back. Have a wonderful holiday with your family, my good friend..See you next year!.Judy
