Darling Confetti Krispie Tulip Pops

My sister Kim is always handing me cute snack-y ideas to make for the kids, and this one caught my eye. I just happened to have a tulip shaped cookie cutter and the lollipop sticks, all I needed were the Rice Krispies and a 10 oz. package of marshmallows.

Line a 9 X 13 inch baking dish with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray. In a large pot melt together 1/4 cup of butter, the marshmallows and 2 tsp. of vanilla extract. Once all is melted and blended, add 7 cups of Rice Krispies along with 1/2 cup of multi-colored sprinkles.

Press the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. and let cool some. Using your cookie cutter, press cutter into the Rice Krispie mixture, pressing scraps together as needed. Insert lollipop stick and let treats cool completely.

Brush a thin coat of light corn syrup on one side of the treat and then coat with more sprinkles. Outline the treat with decorative icing fitted with a writing tip. Makes 10-12 pops.
