Vintage Colors ~ Cool Mint Green and Red

I am so in love with the color combination of mint green and red this spring that I almost consider myself obsessed with it!  It is so vintage in feel that just to look at the two colors together takes me back to another era. As you may already know I have painted our guest bedroom in Cool Mint from Benjamin Moore's classic collection. I plan to add pops of red as accents, so I was just surfing the old net to put myself in vintage mode.

Here is some of what I found...

Isn't it a fun color combination??? The mint is so refreshing and the red adds just enough contrast and excitement. I think I may have to start a Pinterest Board just for these colors!!!

Hope you all are enjoying another beautiful Spring day!!!

XO

  3. Barbara- I just clicked over and read your adoption story. I never noticed it before. What a wonderful, heartwarming story and your children are beautiful presents from God. What a blessing and a true miracle. Those babies were meant for you- you just had to travel to get them- xo Diana

  8. Following you after seeing your room over at Savvy. First, the little swan you used as a business card. Is it Lenox, I have one just the same. A gift when I registered for my wedding from the store owner. Then when I saw you picture with your Mom. I think I had the same confirmation robe! Then in your reading blog roll, I follow most all of the same blogs. I am sure our paths have crossed during our lives. Kindred spirits!
