Today I decided to take a walk around the yard just to see if there was anything I could use to place in my new pitcher and basin I picked up last month out in Lancaster Pa.
So I cut some ornimental grasses we have in our backyard and then I found these pretty oranges berries in the side yard.
I popped them into the pitcher. Nice but it still needs something.
I headed back out to the yard and suddenly realized I had a ton of pretty yellow maple leaves that have not yet been raked up.
So those were popped in to the pitcher as well.

A very pretty arrangement. I like the fact that it all came from your yard, and the pitcher and basin are wonderful pieces.
ReplyDeleteI just love the berries and the colored leaves. We don't get much leaf color here so I really enjoying seeing it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful in its simplicity, Barbara. I am laughing because those berries are BITTERSWEET and I hunted for some for WEEKS. I even wrote a whole post about it. lol My favorite Fall find. What you have put together there is just lovely!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat looks so pretty Barbara!!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, Barbara. Barbara!!!. Do you not know that you have a treasure trove right in your own back yard? Those LITTLE ORANGE BERRIES that you so casually mention are Bittersweet. Everyone is trying to find them like crazy and paying alot when they do. Or at least I did. That lesson aside, I love the new bowl and pitcher and you have made a most lovey arrangement, like you always do. NOW, get ready for the onslaught as everyone within shouting distance will be knocking down your door..Happy Thursday..Judy
