Easter Centerpiece

Hello everyone and Happy Easter Monday. I know this post is going out rather late today but to be honest our holiday guests just left a few short hours ago and I am trying to get myself a little bit caught up. I trust you all enjoyed a very Blessed Easter yesterday. Ours was most enjoyable. First we had brunch at my sister-in-laws home with Mr. Rosemary Lane's family. Being one of nine siblings who still all live within the state, it was quite a large gathering. Later on in the afternoon my family was up for dinner and to stay overnight. This way they all could relax without worrying about the hour drive home.

Late Saturday afternoon I decided to set the table for Easter dinner. I was at a bit of a loss for what to have as my centerpiece. Christmas is always so easy for me since I own tons upon tons of Christmas items to use in creating something special for the table. Unfortunately Easter items are much less plentiful here, however my sweet hubby did pick up a few potted plants for the weekend. So I grabbed a daffodil plant and placed it in one of my ironstone soup tureens and began to create.

Next I poked in a few of my faux pink tulips from Michael's along with some little white faux flowers I happen to have lying around.

Decorative grass helped to hide the plastic pot and a pretty pink and white gingham ribbon was tied in a bow on each of the tureen's handles. The tureen was placed in a larger ironstone bowl which was holding a darling egg wreath.

And I was all done! Easy right???
Now that Easter Sunday is over what is in your spring plans? I really want to get outside as the weather is really beginning to become nice. The grass has turned a vibrant green almost overnight and those pesky weeds have started popping up, but it is all good since it is Spring after all!

Have a great rest of your day!!!
XO

  2. Barbara, that is what an Easter centerpiece is supposed to look like. So pretty. Our lawn was so dead from lack of summer watering that I thought it was a goner, but now it is pretty and green again. I think we are in for some more bad weather though, before it's all over with..Hope your Easter was a wonderful one..xxo Judy

  3. Great way to embellish some pretty daffodils! The pink with the yellow looks vibrant and springy. I'm sure it made your Easter table all the more festive.

I love the combination of daffodil and tulips together!
I have a schedule appointment with the custom hand railing contractor
