This past week we have spent down at the good ol' Jersey Shore. We had time on the beach in Brigantine and then decided to take a trip down to one of my favorite summertime spots to do a little shopping...Cap May NJ.
Cape May is a town at the southern most tip of the Cape May Peninsula where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean.
Cape May became the vacation spot for many Philadelphians in the mid 18th century and is recognized as this country's oldest seaside resort.
Cape May is also noted for it's amazing number of Victorian buildings. Some are residential homes, some hotels, inns and restaurants, and others are B&B's.
And then there are the beautiful pristine beaches...
"Shore" hope you all ware enjoying a wonderful week and wishing you a fabulous weekend!
XO
Oh my goodness. I have to put that on our travel list. We live in WV so not that far away. One of the many things I love about blogging is seeing people post where they vacation or live. I get to see what beautiful places that I would not have known about.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Cape May!
ReplyDeleteI'm envious. I grew up in NJ and have been gone for many years. The last time I was in Cape May was for my niece's wedding. I guess that was around 2000. I miss the Jersey shore and enjoyed your photos. Thanks!
