This Year's Spring Mantelscape

We have been especially lucky here in the northeast over the past week as the outside temps have been soaring past the 70 degree mark! Now if that doesn't put you into spring mode I just don't know what would. So over the weekend I began some early spring cleaning and decorating, starting with our living room mantel!

I love the blink of mercury glass combined with some natural elements. The mossy little bunnies were a cute find from Hobby Lobby! Love that store!!!

A faux boxwood wreath layers on top is a grapevine wreath are at the center of the mantel display.

In lieu of real tulips...of which I love...I have a couple bunches of faux white tulips placed in a mercury glass vase to balance out the mantel.

How about you? Have you started getting ready for spring?? It is just right around the corner you know. And if you are looking for what I like to call "Springspiration", make sure to mark you calendars for the week of March 20th. You won't want to miss 5 days of 30 bloggers home tours put together by my friend Marty of the beautiful blog A Stroll Thru Life
(Psst...Rosemary Lane's tour will open on Monday March 20th!)

Wishing you all a fabulous start to your week!

  2. Your mantle is awesome - bright, clean, cheerful and All Things Spring!!!!

I have not really gotten my spring stuff out - but I am in transition....cleaner, more streamlined, put away most of my shiny things and getting out the whites, moving slowly in the right direction lightening things up a bit. It's kinda difficult to totally do when it is snowing outside, haha.

  3. I like the transitional feel of your mantle. A little bit winter, a little bit spring. Just like March!

  6. Hi there Barbara! Oh my goodness, those bunnies are too cute! Our weather here in Colorado has been up and down. I make the most of those up days--cleaning the garden and imagining my plan of attack this spring. Only 20 more days! Hugs, Pat

  7. Thanks so much , Barb, for stopping by and for taking the time to comment on my post about my dad. I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I will tell you that it gets better with time. Sounds like your Dad was a great guy too. Treasure your memories of him and that is how he will stay alive forever in your heart....
