Hi everyone and happy Monday! How did any of you who had to deal with storm Jonas make out? I hope OK. We were fine despite the almost 30 inches of snow we had dumped on us. No power outages and by Sunday afternoon the main roads, for the most part, were dry and clear.
Over the weekend I shared with you a thrift store chandy I picked up last week at ReStore. She was only $15 and I just love the way she sparkles in my kitchen.
But what I didn't share with you were the other thrifty items I found while doing a little shopping with my sister Kim. You see it was her...ah...well big birthday last Tuesday and what she loves to do is thrift shop, so we were on a mission to seek out new places and to do just that! The first place we hit was
located on Routes 202 and 263 in Buckingham Pa. This shop is absolutely adorable and is filled to the brim with tons of goodies. What I found there was a beautiful tableware service for 7.
I fell in love with the pretty rose pattern, it is so different than anything else I own and the set was only $6! (They even threw is a cute basket for me to carry my new treasure home.)
Later in the week we stopped at the Holy Redeemer Thrift Store in Hatboro Pa. Neither of us had ever been there before so we had lots of fun milling around and checking out all of their goodies. I picked up this pretty teapot for a whopping $2. It is going on the shelf above the back slider going out to the screened-in porch.
Then on my way to the check out at ReStore to buy my pretty chandy, I picked up this rather weathered white and black enamel pot for one dollar.
I think the pot rounded out this week's Farmhouse inspired collection quite well.
So my total for all three items came out to just $9. Needless to say I was a squealing!! How about you...have done any thrifting yet this year?
Stay warm and wishing you a great week!
XO
