I love looking at houses, and both television and movie houses are no exception. To me these home exteriors simply capture my imagination. Let's see if you recognize any of the following T.V. houses.
So who belongs to these T.V. homes???
The first home, or cottage as it was commonly referred to in the series, is located at 1164 Morning Glory Circle and belongs to Darren and Samantha Stephens from the 1960's sitcom "Bewitched".
The second house is the beautiful Stratford Inn owned and operated by Dick and Joanna Louden in Bob Newhart's 1980's sitcom "Newhart".
Number three is the Milwaukee Wisconsin home of Howard and Marion Cunningham from the 1970's hit show "Happy Days".
The 4th T.V. home actually houses one of my all time favorite sets, that being the apartment of Mary Richards in the "Mary Tyler Moore Show".
The next in this line up is from one of my favorite 1980's sitcoms. It is the home of ad exec Angela Bower (Judith Light) along with housekeeper Tony Maselli (Tony Danza).
And the last maybe a tough one so let's see if you got it right...this home was considered a haunted cottage belonging to widowed writer Carolyn Muir, her two children and their family dog in the 1960's take on the 1947 movie "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir."
All righty then, how did you do? Let's see how well you can identify these movie homes...
...and as we begin to get ready for the holidays...
So who's houses are these?
First up is the San Marino California home of George and Nina Banks in the 1991 remake of "Father of the Bride" starring Steve Martin and Diane Keaton.
This second is the home of Isabel Bigalow from the 2005 remake of "Bewitched" starring Nicole Kidman and Will Farrell.
Next is also from a Nicole Kidman movie from 1998 where she starred along side Sandra Bullock in a fantasy film involving witches and "Practical Magic"!
And speaking of Sandra Bullock, she starred as a Chicago toll collector Lucy, in this 1995 romantic comedy. The home belongs to the quirky family known as the Callaghans and the name of the movie is "While you were Sleeping".
And again last but most certainly not least...this is one of my favorite movie homes ever in one of my favorite holiday movies...it's an oldie but goodie...the home is the Columbia Inn at Pine Tree Vermont operated and owned by Major Tom Waverly in the movie "White Christmas".
Congratulations...I am sure you got them all right!
Hope you had as much fun looking at these houses as I did finding them!
