Trying to decide...and I need your HELP!

As you may remember, this past September I went to New Orleans for 5 days with my sister Kim. Well Kim loved everything about NOLA from the wonderful food of the Cajun and Creole cuisines, to the beautiful architecture and vibrant colors of the French Quarter. She loved it so much that honestly she is still talking about our trip to New Orleans!!

So for Christmas I thought about making one of the photos I shot down there into a piece of artwork for her home...something she will always have to remember our time together. Last night I was up til midnight narrowing down my choices. After going through my favorites these are my final three.

Number one...

or
(different top matting)

Number two

or
(different top and middle matting)

 and Number three

or
(different top matting)

Kim's home is fairly traditional with a wee bit of a tropical flair. She loves earth tones and the colors of autumn, and just recently had beautiful wainscoting and crown molding added to her dining room and entry. She went ahead and had crown molding put up in the living room as well. I chose the dark frame since most of Kim's walls are fairly neutral in color with the exception of the dining room which has a gold tone.

So now I need your help...which photo catches your eye? What colors do you prefer? Which photo's subject is most interesting to you? Won't you please help me to decide! I want to order the picture ASAP so I have it in time for Kim's Christmas surprise.

I surely appreciate any input you have to offer...you all have such fabulous taste!

Thank you and have a wonderful day!!!
XO

  4. Barbara, these are all amazing, but my favorite is the first shot, with the first mat choice. If your sister's home has tropical colors, this would fit in nicely I imagine!

  7. The first one did it for me. That just looks like no other place but New Orleans. I also love the look of the crisp white mat. This will be a fantastic gift no matter which you decide on.

  10. Barbara, for what it is worth. My pick would be the brick courtyard with the creamier matting. It's a little formal, which I like, and there must be a surprise at the end of the walkway up at the iron railing, which always looks NO to me..You take such pretty photos that I'm sure she would like any one of them..Happy Monday..Judy
