Despite the frigid temperatures and abundance of snow we received this past week week, last night we attended an annual bonfire held a couple towns over from where we are in New Jersey The local fire department holds the event on the last Saturday night of January to burn all of the Christmas trees collected from its residents. We headed on over after a huge dinner out with Mr. Rosemary Lane's family. It was cold but the fire kept us nice and toasty, and just as we arrived they began their spectacular fireworks display!

ReplyDeleteWOW! What a show! Our city recycles the trees by mulching them and giving the mulch back to the community for their yards. Your way looks a lot more fun!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a great time. We live in NJ and has been cold a snowy for sure!
