Yesterday I spent a glorious afternoon with my college roommate antiquing at an outside market enjoying the fresh fall air and stunning pictorial views. To be more specific we were in Adamstown Pennsylvania, part of Lancaster County. Lancaster is also very near and dear to our hearts as well because that is where we first came to know each other as college freshman some 30 years ago.
Shupp's Grove was the spot and it was decked out greet to us in the beautiful colors of autumn.
There was plenty to look at...how about this gorgeous cobalt blue glassware?
Lots of vintage ware too...
and a bauble to go along with any attire your can think of.
I adore the charming fabric bunting...just may have to recreate this for my own home.
Plenty of vintage Pfagltzgraff pottery as well.
And who didn't grow up with one of these Corning coffee pots in their home?
It was a wonderful day in Lancaster County...planning a trip back and maybe even do an over-nighter so we can hit more of the antique shops in the area!
Wishing you a fabulous start to your week!
XO
PS...I'll share with you later what I picked up while shopping!
That makes me miss my home state, Barbara. There is nothing quite like Lancaster (for all you NONE PA people that is pronounced LANK Kah STER NOT Laaannncaster) lol I had both those sets of Pfalzgraff over the years and also one of those coffee percolators. lol
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had a fun day with your old college friend....what great weather you had! xo Diana
