Surprise Birthday Gift

Yesterday I had lunch with two of my dearest friends. The reason for the lunch was to celebrate our birthdays since they fall in November, December and January.  After lunch my one girlfriend and I did a little Christmas shopping in the nearby outlets. We were in the Polo outlet and after a few minutes I excused myself and left her there to browse around while I went across the road to check out the Timberlake store. As I returned to the Polo outlet, she was walking toward me holding up a shopping bag containing an item she had just purchased and said "Happy Birthday".  I opened it up and had to laugh...boy does she know me...what she gave me kinda matches something else I recently purchased. (Which she has never seen)

Remember my new living room Lamps???

Well here are my new gloves!!!

I will have to remember to wear these the next time I decide to put the lampshade on my head and dance around the living room!

Aren't they adorable??? We've been friends since we were little girls and have always had very similar tastes, but I have to say that this one takes the proverbial birthday cake!!!
