I have to say that it simply pays to go visit my sister Kim. I went down yesterday to help her with some decorating and we decided to take a quick trip over to ReStore. ReStore is pretty much a thrift shop only it is in this huge warehouse and it has just about everything you can imagine. They sell all types of donated furnishings, appliances, tools as well as reused and surplus building materials. It is run by the Habitat for Humanity people and the proceeds benefit their cause.
I bought this beautiful pink pitcher for only $2 and these cups and saucers with a pretty basket weave pattern on them...6 for $5. Just last weekend I picked up plates with the same basket weave pattern at the Christmas Tree Shoppe for what I thought was a great price...3 plates for $5!! Then I found this little matching platter, o.k. so it has a couple chips, but that just adds to it's charm and it was only $2
When Kim and I got back to her house she asked me if I wanted this cute little table. Now how could I possible say "No" to something so darling?
So all I spent was $9 for the cups with saucers, the platter, pitcher and you gotta love the freebie table from Kim. So thank you sis for such a fun filled but busy afternoon yesterday, love you lots and see you soon!
