We are on day 6 of the post Sandy power outage and still hopeful our power will be restored in the next 2 to 3 days. Kids will not go back to school tomorrow and school reopening is pending for Tuesday and Wednesday. Gas is being rationed and the lines remain long, but more stations are beginning to open up as they have their power restored. This will undoubtedly help relieve some of these tremendous lines.
In the meantime I want to thank the many of you who have written to 21 Rosemary Lane sending your precious prayers and well wishes. I cannot tell you how much it means to me and my family here in New Jersey. I am truly overwhelmed by all of you in the blogosphere by your kindness and sweet offers to exchange a balmy southern day for one of our cold overcast days, or a wish to live closer to us to be of help during this crisis. 21 Rosemary Lane is so blessed by each and every one of you. Through your thoughts and words you have made us feel very supported and loved, and have helped us in ways you cannot possibly know, to stay strong through this difficult time.
I will keep you posted and hopefully be back soon with my regular recipes, crafts, room decor and furniture redos.
Again thank you for your words, thoughts and prayers. This is truly an amazing community of bloggers, and although I have never met most of you in person, your love and support couldn't be felt any deeper than if you were right here with me and my family.
From the bottom of our hearts here at 21 Rosemary Lane...
Thank you and God bless you all!

Barbara, what a sweet post. You are STILL in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything that we can do, please don't hesitate to ask! God bless you!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, I continue to pray for you and everyone who is suffering! I hope you get back to normal very soon!
ReplyDeleteBlessing!
Barbara, continued prayers for your family and everyone affected by Sandy. I live on the Texas gulf coast and have been hit twice in the last 6 years. One day at a time and leaning on God, family and friends is what got us thru. Gives an appreciation of mother natures force. Leslie
ReplyDeleteWe're in NJ too but we're almost back to normal around here. The kids go back to school tomorrow and we all plan to trick-or-treat on Monday evening too. I'm so so sorry to hear that you are still without power and still waiting for normalcy to come back. It was a scary, horrible storm and you sound so positive and hopeful. I hope you get your power back soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know about your safety. Continuing to pray.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Shelia :)
Barbara- I am continuing to pray for all of you. What a heartache to live through. I hope you can keep your spirits up in the face of it all- xo Blessings- Diana

ReplyDeleteI am still praying for you and your family, neighbors and friends.
ReplyDeleteBarbara,
ReplyDeleteStill sending prayers Heaven-ward for you and your family. Also for all who are affected by the storm.

Lovely post. :)
Take care, Janet W ((BIG HUGS))
Sending prayers your way and all others who are so suffering with loss of their homes, no food or heat. Lean on God, he always gets us through.
ReplyDeleteDear Barbara, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I'm so sorry to hear that you are still without power, hopefully that will be remedied soon. Know that we think and pray for you all here in England. I am sending my very best wishes in the hope all will be well soon. Daphne
ReplyDeleteBarbara, I just found your blog and am sending good thoughts and prayers your way. We are in NJ too and STILL do not have power. Luckily we have a generator and did not have too much damage to our home. Stay safe and "Jersey Strong"!
