I don't know if it because of the unseasonably warm weather we have been having coupled with the birds singing and my first glimpse at a robin red-breast, but I have been in Spring mode for about a week now. So the other day as I was cleaning the guest bedroom to get it ready for my parents stay over last weekend, I decided to give the room a little injection of spring.
I moved around some furniture and added a few florals reminiscent of spring.
A luggage stand picked up at a yard sale comes in handy in the guest bedroom.
A tea tray on the bed to welcome my special weekend guests...
...along with a favorite magazine.
Old family wedding photos around the room work both as artwork and a reminder of the new beginnings soon to come.
I am really getting inspired for spring's return.
How about you??? Are you thinking spring yet?

Barbara, what a beautiful room. No matter how you change it up it is always just gorgeous. Your bedside table caught my eye, and I saw it as a wicker (not sure that is the right word) table but then actually saw the rug over top. Quite clever and so inspirational. Your folks must feel very special to stay there..Happy Weekend..xxo Judy
