We have a lovely screened in back patio and I really enjoy entertaining on it. So the other day I hosted a ladies brunch for 4 and this is the setting I created.
The table and chairs where my parents when they lived up in Pennsylvania. I inherited the set when they moved to Florida in 1995. The floral table cloth was my sister's from years ago. It is a rectangle shape so I simply put it on top of another plain white rectangular tablecloth in the opposite direction. This gave me the dramatic look of a table top to floor covering. The turquoise plates I found at TJ Maxx about 5 years ago...if I remember they were $3 each. The little butter dishes are from the Christmas tree shop...they were 2 for $3. Everything else I had around the house so I just pulled like colors together and grounded them with tho wicker place mats and napkin rings. The serving cart in the back I picked up for free as it was a roadside find. Click here to see what it looked originally looked like.
It was a wonderful afternoon with my three girlfriends...gotta love the spring!!
Have a great day!!!
