This is a super cute summertime snack that kids can make themselves. I actually found it in a family magazine and thought I'd try it out on Grace and Michael.
All you need is one or more Granny Smith apples sliced in half lengthwise. Then take 16 seedless green grapes per apple half and slice them lengthwise as well. Lay the apple cut side down on a plate and place the cut side of the grapes down to form the tentacles. Two chocolate morsels attached with a little peanut butter make the eyes and since I didn't have the mini morsels on hand I used sliced almonds, again putting on a dab of peanut butter, to create the mouth. I thought my little Octoapple could use a tuff on his head so I happen to have some white morsels and using my trusty peanut butter I stuck them on the top of his head.
Super easy and super cute and super fun to make!!
Not to mention super yummy to eat!
