Today I feel the need to put this out there in bloggyland. I consider myself relatively "new" to the community of DIYers, foodies and crafters, only being around for about 8 or 9 months, and I must say that within a relatively short period of time this "community" has become for me a very important circle of wonderful friends.
You women of this space in blogland are not only unbelievably talented but also some of the most wonderfully loving and nurturing people I have ever encountered. Always there with a kind comment, word of encouragement, or to lend a hand where ever it may be needed. I wish you all lived within the minimum of a 20 minute walk or a 10 minute drive. Just imagine the fun we would have.
Unfortunately this is not the case, so let me take the opportunity now to say to all of you from the bottom of my heart...THANK YOU. Thank you by helping me find my roots, my true passions, and for the confidence to build upon them. But most importantly, thank you for helping me to realize my special gifts from God. I have rediscovered loves which years ago I managed to tuck away, completely forgetting how much I enjoyed them. My love of creating and crafting, having no ceilings and letting everything flow from within just as I did as a child. Without your constant cheer leading I am certain that I would have never had the courage to get to the creative place I am in right now, and this is a good place. I once read that people who create by working with their hands lead much happier, healthier and spiritually fulfilled lives, and you all are a testament to that! Having the ability to share my life with all of you and have your lives shared in return is a true blessing and has made my daily life even richer.

21 Rosemary Lane is more than an address to me...it is not only the place where this incredible part of my life journey began as both a wife and mother, but it has also become the symbol of my creative outlet, the reflection of who I am and the life I lead. It is my home in so many more blissful ways than one.
So once again thank you for being there for me. May God bless you and forever keep you in His loving arms...
Beautiful words from a beautiful person! So happy to be part of your blog world! Have a happy day!

I have said the same thing to several of my bloggy friends, that I wish we all lived in the same city. We would have the time of our lives!!! The only problem would be trying to be the one to get to the checkout of the thrift store first!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with how you feel about the blogging community. It's a group of unique and amazing people, and I'm proud to be a part of it. I'm so happy to have met you through blogging, Barbara. Thank you for being such a great new friend!
