This year in my kitchen I went with the softer side of autumn by using browns, neutrals and my white ironstone. I also noticed that I had a little theme going here...I seem to have animals of the avian nature as the common thread in my display.
How about that big plump ceramic bird sitting on my plate stand...she was a clearance item from Pier One Imports.
Check out this darling sugar bowl I picked up yesterday at Home Goods. You may notice that I also have the matching creamer...each piece was only $5.00! The plates on the wall are from The Christmas Tree Shoppe...they were only $1.99 each and the runner I purchased last winter from William Sonoma for a cool $7!
The brown glass rooster above was a gift from my aunt. She knows how much I like roosters in the kitchen so she purchased this at a yard sale for me.
Mr. Rosemary Lane asked me not to move the kitchen clock so this is my solution to his request. I simply wired the clock at the top to the wreath.
I'm almost ready for fall...all that's left is to start on my front porch.
Are you ready for this glorious season???
