Well the Christmas decorations are finally down and I am hard at work trying to seriously clean and get organized for the new year. But as you know I did take a little time this weekend to do some shopping in Peddler's Village, and I promised to show you what I purchased in the cute shop Steel Magnolia.
First let me begin by saying that my sister Kim is freakishly fast at zeroing in on fabulous buys! We were in the store not even 2 minutes, and before my aunt or I knew what was going on, Kim already found 3 items for $10 or less and was standing at the register. But I did find these beauties...
(I do believe I am becoming a bit of a lamp junkie. I think if I come home with one more lamp Mr. Rosemary Lane will most likely clock me over the head with it! But who could resist these for only $25?)
That's $25 for the pair!!!
They have a heavy glass base and I think the shades are just darling. Ha ha Kim...you didn't get your hands on these!
The next item I purchased is a bit indulgent for me since I'm not really sure what I am going to do with them, but the price was right so I figured what the hay...
Aren't they cute?
They were only $7 for the pair. What I might do is add a bow to them or fill them with minature Christmas balls and use them as part of my Christmas decor this year. Dratted Kim snatched the black pair...they would have been great for Halloween!
The set of silver boxes below were $10 and both are velvet lined. I think I may just end up using them as new jewelery boxes pour moi!

Barbara, your lamps are beautiful! I can't believe you paid $25 for them! I bought a pair that aren't the heavy glass kind and they were $40 a piece (and that's with a 50% discount!) You did great! Oh... and the silver boots are so neat!
ReplyDeleteYou found some great bargains, I really love the lamps. Wouldn't they be pretty on a bedroom vanity? And aren't those shades just so cute!
