One thing about being a passionate DIYer is that I love being "wowed" by creative people, and today I met one such person down at my local garden center. His name is Mike Marasalek and he is an employee of Four Seasons Greenery who also happens to be an incredibly talented floral designer. I stopped by Four Seasons Greenery today to check out one of their artificial trees, which was on sale at 50% off, and I quickly became engaged in conversation with Mike after discovering a set of 3 amazing arrangements he created for one of the store's local clients.
Take a look at this...
Can you believe these...aren't they just gorgeous? The base is a simple bark cylinder which was purchased at Pottery Barn by the store's client. Then Mike had the task of fashioning the cylinders into closed ended bases for each floral design! I think he did a stunning job on these arrangements...I am sure his client will be tickled pink over the beautifully finished product.
Here are a few more of Mike's creations. Let's start with a couple of holiday wreaths. Each decorative item is individually wired to the frame of a very high quality artificial wreath and all glass Christmas balls were used.
This first one is so beautiful I think I would keep it hung all winter long!
The ribbon on this second wreath is exquisitely placed and the gold sparkle Christmas balls were actually silver when Mike began working on this wreath.
And how about these topiaries Mike created?
(The pumpkin arrangement is another Mike original)

I love this next one...I may be going back to purchase it. Hopefully it will still be there!
I couldn't help but to be totally inspired after meeting Mike and seeing all his creations. He is absolutely amazing and left me completely wowed. I will be sure to make frequent visits down to the garden center just to chat with him and see what new things he has come up with. And I promise I will share them with you!
That's all for now...hoping you are having a wonderfully inspired day!
